My dog Blackie was also Morse literate - he would bark

After some absence I'm getting back into Ham radio again.  Love CW and
will work it when I finish my ten thru eighty mter vertical.  Just bought
one of those german keys (JB-JU1A) and hope to work many contacts on it.

Greetings from Western Australia OM. I found your site by entering 'AWA
Morse Keys' into Google. I have a key marked 'PMG 1941' and 'KEY WT 8 AMP
No 2' also an AWA label saying 'TYPE SR 2018' A photo of this key is
featured on your pages and the information on this and other keys is
wonderful An excellent site. Long live CW! ... 73 de Bill VK6QW

I was recently pointed towards your article "iambic myth" ....
wow .... it answered all my unanswered question about paddle keying,  all
the things that didn't seem right that I couldn't quite express.  A whole
lot of stuff makes sense now. If I can only apply some of it  to my
ham-handed fist.
Thanks.
cheers ... 73 de brian  riley,  n1bq , underhill center, vermont

Great site Marshall, especially the "Key" collection.
I have a "WT 8AMP No. 2." But it also says MKII!
The Peg Leg is a great product, bought one and two Elmers at the Club
asked me to get them one each, when they saw the product! - so hence the
extra order, I haven't got 3, FT817's!!

Yours has got to be THE MOTHER OF ALL CW SITES!

I've spent hours poking around here -- admiring the photographs,
studying the descriptions of all these great keys and paddles and CW
paraphernalia, and reading your informative and amusing articles --
but somehow I keep discovering yet another page of which your Guest
Book is the latest.
Among other things, I've been searching for the ultimate straight key and
think you may have helped me to find it.  Many thanks for putting such a
valuable and interesting collection of material together for all us CW
freaks out here.

Very interesting & informative descriptions & pictures of your collection;
I found myself lusting for several of them ... Thanks for letting us have

have my basic and right now over half way through a morse code class put

Dear N1FN, I have been looking for some code software. I want to get my code speed back up to speed. I passed my code test when you had to copy 13 words a minute for the general license. I haven't been code active for a long time but I think it was real letdown when they lowered the code requirements. Anyway, that's my opinion. Next month am going to purchase your code software. a boot sale and it has been badly treated. The spring on the arm is broken off and the end etc is missing. The only id I have is the TR McIlroy name on the bottom. I am retiring soon and will have time for hamming again and would love to put this old timer to use as it feel good. Nice job!! I never knew those two CTE26003 USN keys I picked up on Cortland St. 40 years ago were actually searchlight keys!! Wish I still had the J38's. Your dog looks nice too! 73, Paul, AA1LL

I have a key identical to the one you named [ KOB ]. It was given to me by my mother last year. Apparently it was given to me as a child and my mother kept it for me. She is now ninety years old and ran across it! I have a book that came with the key and the price of it . I am in Florida for the winter, but will pass along the information that you are looking for when I return to Canada in the spring. My call is VE1ADB and I am in the book. Thanks for now, Joe Ratto

This is one of the very best commercial ham web sites that I know of. You have the best selection of keys, bugs, and other CW paraphernalia I have seen in one place. Please keep adding both new leys to your inventory, and info about your presonal collection. Best of success to you, and I will be making an order (tube/neg key-line adaptor, and Hi-Mound straight key, among other items).
